1. General Use
- Swift Suds Laundromat Pty Ltd (ABN 59 155 307 805) provides unattended self-service laundromat facilities. Patrons and visitors use the facility at their own risk.
- We are not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to property, including but not limited to shrinkage, discolouring, or damage to items.
- Patrons are responsible for their own safety and the safety of others in their care. Caution is advised on wet floors, a common hazard in laundromats.
2. Use of Machines
- Please select the appropriate machine capacity to avoid overloading. Overloaded machines may not clean properly, requiring an additional cycle.
- While we strive to use the highest quality liquid detergents and fabric softeners, no guarantee is provided that stains will be removed
- Ensure all machines are empty before use. We are not liable for damage caused by items left by previous users.
- Patrons should promptly remove their laundry within 10 minutes of the cycle’s completion. Unattended items may be removed and stored for up to 24 hours, after which they may be donated to charity.
3. Laundry Care
- We strive to prevent damage but are not responsible for wear and tear, including fading, abrasions, or loss of buttons.
- Check all laundry and pockets before use. We are not responsible for damage caused by items like lipstick, pens, or jewellery left in garments.
- Items that should NOT be placed in washers and dryers include:
- “Hand wash only” or “dry clean only” items
- Clothing with linings, beading, or delicate embellishments
- Heavy wool garments, fur, leather, suede, coats & suits
- Pillows, silk items, and highly stained or soiled clothing
4. Conduct
- Only capable adults should operate machines. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
- We expect courteous and respectful behaviour from all patrons. We reserve the right to remove individuals who do not comply with acceptable conduct.
5. Refunds
- Refunds are at the discretion of Swift Suds Laundromat and, if granted, will be provided as a credit coupon for future use. Cash refunds are not available.
